Performance Track
Students pursuing the performance track in the music major are expected to follow a planned, comprehensive curriculum that includes routine appearances in public concerts and before faculty juries, and that culminates in a substantial public recital. Specifically:
- Enroll each year in appropriate studio and ensemble course work.
- Audition before a panel each June to demonstrate the current level of competence. Panels will be composed of representatives of the applied faculty, one or more undergraduate advisers, and other members of the faculty as appropriate.
- Plan appropriate public recitals during the junior year and senior year.
