Overview
We utilize a public Google calendar for all of our department performances and events. Several programs can interact with the Google calendar servers and "Subscribe" to the events. Your program—either Google Calendar, iCalendar, Outlook, or Entourage—regularly downloads the information from the Google server and keeps a copy in the calendar format native to that program. The advantage of doing this, other than having the calendar in your own calendar program, is that when updates are made they are captured regularly through the subscription service.
Subscribe using Google Calendar
Click the [+Google Calendar] icon in the lower right corner of our events calendar. This option does require a free Google Calendar account.
Subscribe using iCalendar
Go to your iCalendar program, and under the menu "Calendar" choose the option "Subscribe" and copy and paste the following URL into the field and then press "Subscribe." An options menu will pop up, and we suggest that you select "Every Day" from the "Auto-Update" at the bottom of the options menu.

Subscribe using Outlook or Entourage
On the "Tools" menu, click "Account Settings." On the "Internet Calendars" tab, click "New." Paste the URL below into the appropriate field. Click "Add." In the "Folder Name" box, type the name of the calendar as you want it to appear and then click "OK."
