Peter Hill

Peter Hill graduated from Bucknell University in 1992 with a Bachelor
of Arts in music. While there, he was music theory teaching assistant
to composer William Duckworth and was a recipient of the Barbara Watson
Grever Prize in Music. He was a piano student of Barry Hannigan and
Lois Svard. In 1995, Peter received a Master of Music degree in piano
performance, and in 1997, a Professional Studies Diploma from the
Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of Thomas Hecht and Sandra
Shapiro. He graduated with a Master of Education in music education
from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2003. Peter is presently
in the Ph.D. program in musicology. |
