Scott Choate is a native New Mexican who received his bachelor’s degree in orchestral performance from Arizona State University. He also studied performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Choate performs as principal tuba with the Fresno Philharmonic, Napa Valley Symphony, Vallejo Symphony, and Santa Rosa Symphony. In addition to teaching tuba at UC Davis, he is a music lecturer at San Jose State University. |
