UC Davis’ professional music ensemble-in-residence, the Empyrean Ensemble, presents New Music from Davis, a program of new works by the talented graduate student composers from the UC Davis Department of Music, including Ching-Yi Wang, Sue-Hye Kim, An Tan, and Davide Verotta. The concert, which also features the world premiere of a new work by UC Davis alumnus Eric Sawyer, takes place on Monday, June 2, 8 pm in the Studio Theatre of Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. A “Demystifying the Music” talk precedes the show at 7 pm.

Tickets—$18 for adults and $9 for students and children—are available online at MondaviArts.org, by phone at 530-754-ARTS (2787) or 866-754-ARTS (toll-free), or at the door. Accommodations for persons with disabilities are available upon request.
