UC Davis Early Music Ensembles Present 17th-Century German String Music and Italian Vocal-Instrumental Works
The UC Davis Early Music Ensemble, directed by David Nutter, and the UC Davis Baroque Ensemble, co-directed by Phebe Craig and Michael Sand, will perform 17th-century German string music by Biber, Rosenmüller and Schmelzer along with Italian vocal-instrumental works by Monteverdi and Rovetta. The concert will take place on Saturday, March 1, at 8 p.m. at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, located at 640 Hawthorne Lane in West Davis. Admission price is a suggested donation of $12 for adults and $6 for students and children at the door only.
