UC Davis Jazz Band Presents the Flavors of Latin Jazz

The UC Davis Jazz Band’s traditional Big Band and free-form Improv Combo present Latin Flavors, an evening of Latin jazz arrangements, at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the Studio Theatre of the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. The program includes Dizzy Gillespie’s “A Night in Tunisia” and the jazz standard “On Green Dolphin Street.” The concert will be broadcast live on Davis’ freeform, noncommercial radio station, KDVS, broadcasting at 90.3 FM and webcasting at kdvs.org. The UC Davis jazz ensembles are directed by Delbert Bump, established organist, pianist, educator and composer.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students and children. Purchase tickets online at MondaviArts.org, through the Mondavi Center ticket office at 530-754-2787 or 866-754-2787 (toll-free), or at the door. Accommodations for persons with disabilities are available upon request.
